Welcome to Black Bikes! Established in 2013 to carry out bicycle service and repair and parts sales in Eastbourne, East Sussex.

From tube replacements to full strip and rebuilds, Black Bikes has quickly become a trusted name in the cycling community.

With the wide range of bicycles and components it is difficult to provide an exhaustive list of prices. For specific jobs please call or message 07873126093 and I can discuss your needs with you and provide an estimate. The following is a short guide to pricing.
Minimum Charge £10
Hourly Rate £50
Inner tube replacement from £20 ("standard" tube included) - e-bikes with wheel motor units or bicycles with enclosed chains, cargo bikes, trikes and recumbents will be charged at a higher rate dependent on the time they take.
Basic Service (non hydraulic brakes) from £45 plus parts
Basic Service (hydraulic brakes) from £75 - allow for new brake pads (Bosch and Shimano diagnostic and firmware update additional £15)
Full strip and rebuild from £180 plus parts
Wheel truing from £25 plus parts
Wheel building from £45 per wheel plus parts email or call to discuss requirements
Wheel Rebuild from £60 plus parts - please note for rebuilds new spokes will be required

Sales:
You can now browse components in stock and order click and collect or we can ship out to you. A stock of day to day parts such as brake pads, cables etc are kept on hand, please feel free to text 07873126093
E-bikes:
Please note I do not deal with any full throttle assist ebikes, conversions or de- restricted bikes.
I am Bosch and Shimano registered and happy to carry out diagnostics and servicing on systems supplied by these companies.
When dropping an e-bike for servicing please charge the battery and bring the battery key.
